PLEASE REMEMBER....PLEASE FORGET!

PLEASE REMEMBER....PLEASE FORGET!

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

We are fast approaching the 5th. anniversary of my only son's death. My apologies for a rather large photo. I'm not very computer savvy!

"

PLEASE REMEMBER.....PLEASE FORGET!

Please remember.... please forget!
It has been so long and yet,
Everywhere I see your face.
But...you're gone without a trace.

Time heals all it has been said
I beg to differ and instead
I set the score for all to see...
As mem'ries flow from you to me!

Your toothless smile from years gone by
Just makes me laugh...but then I cry.
The little things you said and did
Are not forgotten nor are hid.

Your mother's heart is broken still
And yes I know forever will
It be this way for all of time...
Because my son...your heart is mine

Lovely words for something so sad. Having lost a child, husband and other family I too think and remember.

Gee
No parent expects to out live their offspring. This is a beautifully sad piece, and I'm so sorry for your loss.
