THE LITTLE GIRL I USED TO BEA Poem by Miss SharonTaking time to play...THE LITTLE GIRL I USED TO BE The little girl I used to be Has come to stay a while with me I did not ask for her to come... She's only visible to some To those who choose to stop and play She's always willing then to stay For every wish she has the key That opens doors to help you see The rhyme she chooses does not slant Nor sever dreams that she can plant She's kind and gentle by design Why...everything she does is fine! Perhaps I'll ask her please to stay To help me find a way to play 'Cause each new day is seldom long And we must sing a brand new song! *** © 2016 Miss SharonFeatured Review
