Christ to me, my Savior be
A friend who's always there
Comfort now this aching heart
And answer now my prayer

In darkness be the light that shines
Illuminate my path
A help and lifter of my head

Counselor and Prince of Peace
To me You've always been
When days grow long, my body frail
You're with me...my best friend

So many blessings from Your hand
I scarce cannot believe

Just seen you post so thought I'd have a peek. Glad I did. I'm in no way a believer, but admire those of you that put so much faith in 2000 year of tale. This poem flowed beautifully and the rhyming was bang on the money. Well done that lady.

This poem was posted several weeks ago and I see that no comments have been made. Perhaps it is a sign of our times in these "last days" the Bible speaks about. It is my prayer that if anyone chooses to read this post, their heart will be drawn to the beautiful presence of the only One who can give eternal life through His death on the cross...Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
