AN EASY THING TO DO

It should be such an easy thing...
To crown Him Lord of all.
To alter every mundane task,
And listen to His call.

To look about and see the signs
Which point to His return,
Should cause our hearts to leap for joy...
Our passion there to burn!

To leave behind this wretched world
And go to live with Him,
Has been our quest for lengthened years...
Our quest and not a whim.

It should be such an easy thing
To wish it even so.
And yet the will of man is such,
He hesitates to go.
