WHEN ANGELS SANG FOR MEA Poem by Miss SharonChristmas in the high country....WHEN ANGELS SANG FOR ME
The winter air, washed fresh and clean, White lace clothed every tree. And silence bathed the granite peaks... When angels sang for me. The weighted heart which held its pain Yet longed to be set free, Was lifted of its dirge and grief... When angels sang for me. Reflections on the frozen lake Rime ice upon the scree, Filled up the day with majesty... When angels sang for me. My eyes beheld the beauty of God's handiwork for free. And peace rang out 'ore hills of time... When angels sang for me. ~~ Winner of the Simplicity Challenge © 2015 Miss Sharon |
