A PERFECT SADNESS

A PERFECT SADNESS

Remembering my son's death....

A PERFECT SADNESS
(Written November 17, 2015)

A perfect sadness fills my days,
Through time and  darkened nights.
The silence which the moon adorns,
Gives way without a fight.

In secrecy the pain is born,
And in its glow I bask.
The aching felt within my breast,
Unfits me for the task.

Intense...the image in my mind!
It seems like yesterday.
Your lifeless form...so silent...still.
Too high my price to pay!

beautifully written Sharon, sadness here is immense and I know your pain for the loss of your son, your words are a stunning tribute to him, seems little but the best I can give you here is a place in my library of favorites, best wishes, Richard :)
