BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT!

He wrote a popular song
called The Hokey Pokey.

When he died we wanted to
give him a proper burial.

BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT!

We put his right leg in...
He put his left leg out

And it made no difference
If we turned him all about.

For those too young to remember The Hokey Pokey, the words are..."You put your left leg in, you put your left leg out, you put your left leg in and you shake it all about. You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about." It was a little dance we had fun with.....in the dark ages. LOL
