FIRM EVIDENCE

FIRM EVIDENCE

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Do you believe in magic?

"

She weaved her magic spell in kind,
Within the bonsai of his mind.
Replete with verve and skill unto,
The kindred hour of Enyatue.

Before the gong of midnight plea,
She planted love beneath the tree.
And every passerby that came,
Remained to be...no more in pain.

Her speech, though cloaked in mist of rhyme,
Became a maxim to confine.
In silent hint of recompense....
There need not be firm evidence.

I enjoyed this poem. I shall have to look up Enyatue ... but even not knowing it adds magic and mystery to this well written poem.
