The things we do for love......

 

If I were a singer, I'd sing you my heart, In melodies fresh as the rain. With rhapsodies wafting like nightingale songs, To sooth each fortissimo strain. If I were a dancer, I'd dance you a prayer, In worship to all you hold dear. With friendship and fam'ly and gifts from the earth, To banish each sadness and fear. If I were a painter, I'd paint you sweet dreams, In pastels of shimmering hue. With rainbows for pallets and dewdrops for joy, To color the world just for you. If I were a writer, I'd write you my love, In sonnets of passion and fire. With satin and moon-glow that waltz in the night, To quench all your longing desires. ~~
