The next thing I knew.....it was over. Much like yesterday's half eaten dinner or The last dying embers of winter's fireplace. Nothing lasts forever, but somehow I Thought our love might be the exception   Until the smack of reality pushed fear and Unbelief into every open pore of my body, Becoming its own synthetic fabric frayed By lies, half truths and deception. Is this what good-bye looks like? Is this how it feels...all numb and all pain At once...crashing and careening into its own Poison capsule while trauma, shock and unbelief Ride waves of infinity like a cataclysm of Perpetual dearth feeding on its own waste. So this is good-bye....and this must be how It feels....this must be how it becomes sweet Blue lagoon memories lost in the rubble. ***
