There is an ominous tone to this one. An eerie scary movie sort of feeling. Sleep....how precious it is and how rare for those of us who worry and stress. Secrets can haunt a person and rob a person of sleep....there is no doubt. Wonderful work here, Sharon. Lydi**

Those distant thunders and their echoes do make off with our peace and serenity. Sleep deprivation becomes the norm where we stay up thinking and thinking and even worrying. An excellent haunting write...:)........

I like the way of writing in short stanzas. this brings more power into the work ( as far as I feel)..
The poem makes me think of a lot of hidden secrets of the dark.. starts a stream of conciseness. Great write :)
