the color of memories washes over me in battlefield gray bouquets. This date is encircled in red on every calendar I own and smiles that forgot to remember are wiped clean... quickly vanishing like an ant in the mouth of a furnace. Leafing through the dusty album of black and white photographs, I often wonder where your beautiful smile now resides other than the faded opaque image clinging tenaciously to that last drop of glue. ~~ © 2015 Miss SharonFeatured Review
