A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE

A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

A nonsensical poem to create a smile...hopefully!

"
If walls could talk and floors could cry
And grass was blue instead of sky
The world would be a flowered place
With purple daffodils in place

If windows sang and doors were clear
Each child would shed a crystal tear
And even if the rain were snow
The air would feel like ten below

So keep your shoes from losing track
When all your brains run out the back
And clocks begin to chime the day
Where dreams are left to kneel and pray
***

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! :>)
I have always enjoyed the occasional nonsense poem and this one is beautifully rhymed and flows perfectly. Great humorous play. Nicely done. ~Jim

Thanks my dear net bro! As I told Woody....sometimes I write nonsensical without even trying! LOL
Our dreams are really prayers, are they not? I think they are! The tempo and rhyme of this one is reminiscent of Dr. Suess. Upside down and sideways thinking....certainly made me smile! Simply wonderful! Lydi**
