NATURAL HARMONY

Nature's beautiful symphonies!

 

While hiking up to Crested Butte Where solitude is free, I hear soft music on the wind Which soothes the heart of me. In forests deep the music plays Like beauty under glass. I hear the trees begin to sing... A choir of leaf-ed class. There melodies lilt soft and low, And gentle all my fears. Their sweet refrain begins to sift The sorrow from my tears. So quickly comes the day to end, I scarcely am aware. This choir in concert...just for me, Is like an angels' prayer! The aspen and the conifers Which harmonize in tune, Sing merriment in classic score Beneath a silvered moon. ~~

we complain so much, and rightly so how everything is so expensive these days...entertainment costs mega bucks...movies, going out to eat, concerts...etc.

but we often forget that nature is right there for the enjoyment...sunsets, mountains, valleys...all the beauty if we just stop to see it...and that is the best show there is...with no admission price.

And this is why I enjoy hiking and snowshoeing and just "being" in the beautiful mountains of Colorado! It is the best and cheapest therapy there is. Thank you for a wonderful comment Jacob! ~Sharon
