A QUIET MIND

A QUIET MIND

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

Those bipolar thought tsunamis!

"
AA QUIET MIND

A quiet mind, with all respect,
Has never been my friend.
I'm always thinking, planning too...
The clamor never ends!

A setting sun marks time for me.
That's when the fun begins!
A word tsunami floods my mind
Like rushing mighty winds!

The pen cannot write fast enough,
To keep up with my thoughts.
I run to my computer
That my son so sweetly bought.

Arthritic fingers can't keep up...
And in the light of day,
I see the written words asleep...
They don't know what to say.

if we lose those thoughts before we can get them on paper, it is so frustrating....and i relate to his...my mind works too fast, non-stop and at all hours of the night i am getting because of the muse.

she never sleeps so she never lets me sleep...and brings me thoughts at most awkward times when i cannot get to a keyboard or pad.

Ahhh :) I totally can identify with this. My thoughts, the speed of light cannot be captured so easily by any poem or rant. :)
