'WINTER ME'
How delicious is this poem beginning and ending with a cup of hot chocolate by a fire. Delicious is the thoughts of boots on mats outside the door, horse drawn sleighs swishing along and the happy voices of children as they build a snowman as only children can. These things and so much more made me smile and appreciate the idea of 'Winter me.'
Beautifully done!

This poem is SO very the essence of the Sharon I have come to know and love. Wonderful rhyme with the great phrase "winter me" as its driving force. The second verse is simply perfect. I hope you decide to post much more of your perfectly flowing poetry here. ~Jim

Wow I really love this piece. The rhyming scheme is simply divine. I reminds me of a very joyful time but somehow the cold atmosphere that you have orchestrated here radiates a sense of sorrow. Most poems with coldness and winter can give off that essence.
