The Truth
A Poem by Heaven-Sent

Everyone wants it, all will know it....

 

 

 

 

The truth, you cannot escape,

it follows, wrapped around you like a cape.

The truth sees and hears all you say and do,

it will come out and announce you.

Your heart will not be full,

your soul, it will take it's toll.

Your mind will always be fearful,

you eyes will always be tearful.

 
Until you deal with the truth, you will always be lost.

Don't you see what those lies really cost?

You must deal with your conscience and don't be fooled.
 Those secrets you hold will hurt those who love you.





Yes, you cannot take those secrets when you go,
All the lies you told, will stay here for all to know.

Ah..rough things can be polished :)
I particularly liked this line:

I have seen this happen to people. This line presents the Truth like a living entity.
