Red and blueA Poem by OnciaThe poem contains the thoughts of the author when it comes to his beloved, her being above him and him considering himself unworthy.I steel feel the taste of blood, The red nectar flowing through My nerve endings, full of you, Numbed by the cover of mud. I wish you came to me, my flood. Give me a taste of you, a taste of new. I need you To come To see what makes me true, To see the bloody mess I have become, To see the blood pour from me to you, To see my eyes fill with blood anew. Twist your eyes upon me, Bleeding a red sea, A harpoon away, a throw, they say, Only one little step to get to thee. Your blood is blue, mine is askew, Bleeding in the wrong direction. I ask from you, as I am true And blood bleeds in only one direction, I ask if you, a bluer blue, Would taint your blood with my affection. © 2021 OnciaAuthor's Note
