Memories Fade- Photographs Are Forever.

Memories may fade as time flies by,
but photographs are forever.
We can treasure them as long as we'd like.

My memories of you start to fade,
yet every time I look at our pictures it all comes back to me again.
 Each moment we shared-  each time our lips meet each other for yet another romantic kiss, full of bliss.

We all try to forget- yet there's always that one person we'll never forget, no matter how hard we try. The one we'll forever regret losing- for the rest of our lives.

Your left to watch behind the shadows- as your past love moves on.
Watching as he kisses another- as he tells her he loves her.
And your left to cry- wishing she was you.

Aren't you the one that left in the first place?
Yea, you are the one that left. Look at where you are now,
on your knees wishing you could take it all back.

You had your chance- you know that.
You had your chance & you blew it!
Now it's time for someone else to see how truly amazing he was <|3

Goodbye my love, forever in my heart you'll be.
Always in my mind- you'll stay. Memories may fade- but Photographs are forever. 

I'll always have our pictures to remind me of you- the one that I let go..

I just started writing earlier in the day, then came back to it later on tonight- then -poof- this poem was created. Enjoy.
