Yours Always;

Yours Always;

A Poem by Megan Doeden

Another one slips through the cracks.
A soul silenced and freed.
It makes me think of you.
What we could have been.
The way we looked at each other.
Ignoring what was right in front of us.
Laughing among ourselves.
I want to remember you as
someone who made me smile.
When we spent countless nights together.
It has been a long few years.
Before you know it I will be with you.
In your arms.
But for now.
You are tucked away.

One day I want to be known as that writer who inspired another to become something they always wanted to be. I want to be a reason that someone does what they love. more..
