hidden secret.

inside of 

the silence,

everything is 

revealed. 

gravity pulls us 

together,

everything turns 

inside out.

i close my eyes, 

and we become 

inhuman.

as you wrap your 

arms around me,

the anxiety is 

washed away.

dripping onto 

the ground.

disappearing in 

the crowd.

we drift into 

another world

where we have 

striped ourselves 

naked

of all that has 

haunted us.

i felt our 

souls play 

together in 

what felt 

like a dream.

coexisting in 

harmony on 

the settling bass.

but as all 

dreams form, 

they

must 

end. 

as my eyes 

began to open.

i saw you.

first time,

but it felt 

almost new.

for a moment,

we understood

everything about

the world started

to become 

real again.

the people 

flooded back

into place,
