Transcendence, The Unbound

Transcendence, The Unbound

A Poem by Lloyd Frieson-Small
"

Of the small amount I am permitted to share, this is what I have chosen.

"
"Some much is the weight of my story, that my fingers petrify at the thought of devising such testimony. In my reflective state, I lose perception of reality and stand amongst the adversary, the enlightened, the scorned, the betrayed, the angelic, and the benevolent. Knowledge that is not my own shadows my thoughts, awaiting any sign of contentment. They have offered me both solitude and exile; A feeling of transcendence, my only ally.
I was in awe as the silence that offered me both solitude and benign neglect became my adversary in an instant."
