I'm Right HereA Poem by OnFragileWingsThere once was a boy who wanted to be loved As much as he loved. Who wanted to be free from all the worlds burdons. To cherish and care for something without having it Fall apart in his hands. You could see the fury and shame plastered behind lukewarm smiles; His love only being able to reach so far beyond his grasp, His eyes burning with subtle fury: Fury from forgotten hope. Well, this boy was trapped. He was trapped in a world where nobody could see beyond his mask. I just need him to know there is an entirely different world out there Waiting just for him. Right here in my arms is everything he has ever yearned for. Everything he has ever sought out in life. And, once he gets here, he will forget his past trauma, strife, struggle; For he will find peace, he will find love, and he will find serenity amid the storm. Because, right here in my arms, Your once muffled calls are now being answered. So, boy, stop trying to take a hold of things currently out-of-reach. For one day you, too, will find true happiness, And all it takes is one simple embrace That will have you finally be at rest. © 2011 OnFragileWings |
