Invader

Invader

A Poem by Omily

I am sucked dry

And I am

I am inside of you

Abiding by the rules of nature

Wicked curse, you don't exist

You can hear me hiss

I'll dismiss you

With the wave of my hand

When I figure out how

I'll resist you--

I'm a snake, and I'm real

I feel the seal snap

On Pandora's box

The one I slaved over

I'm a fox

I can slyly scratch you off

And the demons

Are freed

Plant the seed

For an obscuring

Unnatural tree

To break my vision

I will only give you

The privilige

To reminisce

On how you used to be.
