Winter, Winter Go Away

Winter, Winter Go Away

A Poem by Omily

Winter, winter go away

Rush into spring;

S u f f o c a t i n g

Jack Frost, your vampish strangle

Corpse dead palms

A different angle--

Quadrangle, my ice box fridge:

Steal a greener pasture ridge

Abolish winter,

That thick side splinter,

Splintering hail, rendering

Me incapable

Of the warm haze

Granted me by purple spring days.
