Revolution in Vain

Revolution in Vain

A Poem by Omily

"Let me see your baby!"

A gaggle of

Pink paisley clad women

Shrieked as they saw the young mother

Pushing her bright-eyed newborn

In a carriage, the vessel

For a radical journey

Intending to open the world.

The mother smiled politely

And paused--

Paused--

To let the

Brain deprived banshees

Devour her baby whole.
