Message from Hope

Message from Hope

A Poem by Omily

I am here to remind you feverishly

That someday, you won't wish desperately

To shed those awkward skins

Holding hostage your stiff and clumsy fingers-

I hate to watch you pleading, begging,

Beating an innocent shower wall

Meditation mutating to alcohol

Sacrificing to Darwin so

Maybe, you will evolve-

I meet you with the resolve

That you are metamorphisis

Personified, stupified, zombified,

Keep in mind

You were born a duckling

With a fairytale in your heart,

Inside your beautiful, ugly heart

Pacified with me-

I am hope, crying

You will be a swan.
