Fake I and Fake II

Fake I and Fake II

A Poem by Omily

Fake

Everyone has a box around them

Of sharp and hard edges

It can hurt me

I don't touch it

Sharp, hard real face

I can't touch it

And I watch everyone

In their boxes

Living like they have no boxes

Living like real face is something easy

Enjoyable, pleasurable, free

And I tear my hair

At the contradictions

Because

Everyone has a box around them

Of sharp and hard edges

Fake II

Your world seemed a little more real than mine

You let me touch it

I touched reality without feeling edges

Because you softened the blow

Maybe your world was the fake one

And the many complications are mind numbing

But without the analyzations

And the road block frustration

I am left with a feeling

A craving

For your soft reality
