All limerence ends in agony

All limerence ends in agony

A Chapter by Omikron

All limerence ends in agony
But why would we part ways peacefully?
When the fire ignites, does it burn carefully?
No - It rages in a rambunctious symphony.

And I swear darling, you're good for me,
Two clashing notes make a harmony,
A cruel joke landed right is called irony,
And a love that flows easy is a fantasy.

A hornet's hive, buzzing in symmetry,
A low-pitched hum of fragile energy,
Together we fly, delaying tragedy,
But darling, I tremble for the day we'll see,

That all limerence ends in agony.

I can feel the intense passion in this.... Great write.
The use of the paradox as a passionate yet flawed connection, suggesting that while love can bring joy, it is often accompanied by a sense of impending heartbreak.

The comparison of love to music and a hornet's hive serves to illustrate the chaotic yet beautiful nature of the poet's feelings. I can relate to something like this from my past.

This poem also has a very nice rhyme to it AABB scheme. Thanks for sharing,.
