For Whom Do I Write?

For Whom Do I Write?

A Poem by Omikron

For whom do I write
Now when my wings are dead
Now that the world is on fire
How will my message spread?

For whom do I write
These words that I chisel
My digital clay of letters
My strokes on the easel.

For whom do I write
If I'm the tree that falls
In a forest, vast and empty
Did I fall at all?

For whom do I write
For whom do I bleed
A flower left to rot
Still rests on her seed.
