One GlanceA Poem by OmikronThere is no human touch, No sensation as soft, No satisfaction as pure, As the very moment, The fraction of a second, When eyes as deep as an ocean, That could make a starry night seem dull, Steal a glance and then waste it on me, And undress me in the most inner, Sincere, and most intimate way, That should not be humanly possible. With a single glance, Possibilities become just as paltry As tiny, dissolving raindrops. For, even gravity itself falls, And the universe stops breathing, When your eyes touch mine. With a single glance I am thrown into a beautiful state Of pure and blind, Raw and peaceful, Amnesia.
