In the loneliest of hours

In the loneliest of hours

A Poem by Omikron

In the loneliest hours
In the darkest of days
In mists of oblivion
There will be no faith

When desperation comes knocking
And tears are sweet
There will be no guidance
No candy or treat

When your aura volatilizes
Your loved ones become steam
The sunshine that once surrounded you
Is now a fading moonbeam

In the loneliest hours
In the darkest of days
No one will come to rescue
But you can always pray
