Tune In, Drop OutA Poem by LynnThis poem just came from a rush of emotion. Kind of my view on society/youth.
What is this obsession with money.
Passion, love, virtues has turned into sex, money, drugs. Respect is no longer about morals, but about power. What happened to pure rock and roll. Turn on, tune in, drop out. Society has corrupted itself. Focus is on how much money you have and what you buy with it. Priorities are in chaos; technology is above intimacy, lust is above commitment, drugs are above intellect. "Bad b*****s" are looking for "real thugs," when good women should be looking for honest men. Pressure is great so people fall, but where are the people to rise above it all. When will right be cooler than wrong. Young generations learn from people who say forget love, get cash and smoke hash. We fight for no reason when the only thing worth fighting for is what we believe in. © 2015 LynnReviews
