Offended

Offended

A Poem by Tiffany M. Sinclair
"

I wrote this song because of the fact that we are getting to a point where you can't have a opinion or make your own choices without being called, hateful, racist or offending to someone.

"
Stop, stop, stop,
I look to my right and to my left,
its the same thing, over and over again
I say something, they say something,
I'm called a hater,
a racist, a danger to society. Chorus x3

When did the world become so offended,
when the only thing I did wrong, is speak the truth.

Its becoming more and more relevant to keep my thoughts and your thoughts hidden away
Didn't you know that it's almost illegal to speak your mind anymore
Stop, stop, stop, When's the madness goin to end?

Oh, didn't you know that's just a dream?
Its becoming just a dream to think about living in a world where the truth
reigns supreme while being offended is used in the right way
Madness is here to stay, common sense is trash
Come join the madness and have a one track mind

I push away, I try to escape, but the madness is just tryin to take over,
please make it stop, its makin my head hurt, just stop, stop, stop!
I try to run away and be my own person, but the madness is trying to follow
my every footstep. They are comin for me!

They promise a life of love and equality for me, but it's just lies
They want to take away my soul
Nah, nah, nah, you can't have my soul
Stop, Stop, Stop, you can't have me! Chorus x3

Everyone, is getting OCD while I'm trying to fight the disease
I try to save people, I get pushed and I try again, but I get pushed again
Seems like there's nothing I can do to save them from this OCD.

So I run for my life, run for my life, I push away, I try to escape,
but the madness is just tryin to take over, so, I run for my life.
