Sakura

A Poem by Om Nom Ninja Sheep

Lonely Sakura,
High upon the mountain side,
Beauty all alone.

She Dwelt Among the Untrodden Ways

She dwelt among the untrodden ways
Beside the spring of Dove;
A maid whom there were none to praise,
And very few to love.

A violet by a mossy stone
Half-hidden from the eye !
- Fair as a star , when only one
Is shining in the sky .

She lived unknown , and few could know
When Lucy ceased to be;
But she is in her grave , and , oh ,
The difference to me !

William Wordsworth

I like the title, and it's very good. As soon as I read the title, I'm like, I love Sakuras! A very good Haiku.

Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu! (Thank you very much!)

What caught me attention was indeed the name. Reminded me of the anime 'Cardcaptor Sakura' haha :)

OOOOH!! I really adore sakura blossoms! ther're my favorite flower. You know when I tell people that they have no idea what Im talking about either but If I say cherry blossom they know right away. Plus the poem style really complemets the subject choice. I love how you empasize sakura in that blood red color it puts empaphasis on the oriental theme in my opinion. You make great use of very little space as well. I think it was an amazing choice to choose to make this a haiku though haikus about sakura is a little cliche because I've just seen it done alot before.

Hello! I think that this is wonderful. I could never write anything as gorgeous as this. It really makes you think about its true meaning. (Because I'm assuming it has multiple meanings, like the Japanese songs you showed me. :D)

I like the two listed below by Lina Grey, but it's up to you in the end.
