I knew she had a spouse,
But his love no longer had her aroused, So I saw that as a sign, I could easily decipher, Because of my level of awareness, My consciousness obviously more experienced, Letting him go was like suicide, Miserably in pain but hard to execute, The touch of my lips Was a blast into the past, Less time for her to reminisce, Is the feeling a kiss she miss, A question her mind couldn't resist, But the touch of my hands was new, My words were unique rhythms in tune, She was overwhelmed by the rush, Her soul admitting she was in love, So she whispered in my ears softly, Saying her soul is mine, But her body is his © 2016 OlumegbonAuthor's Note
