The Frost King

The Frost King

A Poem by Ollixen

Tired and alone
I am not yet broken.

To those who refuse me
I am not left unspoken.

To die for honor is laughable
To make a claim upon a heart is untame.

For I know who I am.
I hold fast to my true name.

But with all my efforts
And with all my tries.

I am left but a coffin,
a place to sleep and a place to lie.

Many a word may hurt me,
and many a word may sting.

And yet here I stay standing,
the one and only king.

I actually had someone steal this poem and post it on this website, among others. But whatever. Please enjoy.
