Kiss of LifeA Poem by Olivia MarieLove poem. (Stud M. Note Book) :)Salt stained cheeks fall into your chest My face buries itself into your warmth My hands tremble longing for a form of shelter And grasp onto your sides not daring to let go I feel my pulse begin to quicken And the more I gasp the worse it gets You try and calm me But I panic as I realize I’ve forgotten how to breathe I begin to go lightheaded It feels as though the world could slip away Parts of my body have gone limp And you are now my only support But right as I’ve reached my limit I feel your hand lift my chin Your lips on my lips And like a kiss of life My lungs expand with air My eyes begin to focus in There you sit staring into my eyes I watch you I love you I need you Forever and always
