Note Book) :)cold, jittery, shivering I sit with the heater on high And the ringing Buzzing in my head Probably from the wiring above But also maybe from within my mind Pulsing like a second heartbeat Craving for silence Burning to get out I lower my head to my knees While curled in a little ball And pray it goes away Drowsy, sleepless My eyes rise and fall But it aches And I know Sleep won’t be visiting me Closed Silence of my mouth Forgetting to breathe at times Need to speak Need to call for help Silence
