Religious Poem

In robes of righteousness, they parade and preach
But beneath the surface, a darker truth they teach
With hearts of greed and souls of stone
They claim to serve the Lord, but instead, they've grown
Into wolves in sheep's clothing, preying on the flock
Feeding on their fears, and exploiting their hope
They twist the scriptures, to suit their gain
And lead the faithful astray, down a path of pain
Like Judas, they betray the trust placed in their care
And sell the sacred truth for a pittance, without a care
Their actions mock the cross, and the sacrifice divine
As they reduce the gospel to a means to their own design Beware, dear hearts, of these false priests who roam
And claim to speak for God, but serve only their own doom
For in their darkness, they'll lead you astray
And in their deceit, they'll steal your faith away.
