The New Kid

I'm Riley. I don't have any real friends but I guess what I have will do. My only friends are my bed and my beloved pencil from grade 2, its almost come to end for my pencil.. Sad really. I was hoping to have some friends by grade 5 but it doesn't seem like my hopes came true.

Ms Martin is my teacher this year, she tried to help me start off but I don't think it helped. In the first twenty minutes of the day I have been teased, laughed at and forgotten. Nobody ever uses my name, I would be surprised if any of the kids in my class new my name, except for Calen who I guess is a weird, lost and lonely guy too although he does have Frankie. Frankie is the girl I fancied but Calen got to her first then when I tried to get another girl its was just as bad.

Ashton, the bully got the next girl I wanted but even worse he rubbed it in my face to make me feel bad. The back left corner is my desk, I guess I feel better there. I can think about my life and who would remember me as myself but most of the time its useless.

Everything looked up for me soon later. A new kid had stepped in.. a girl. Her name was as pretty as her and finally someone who doesn't know me as the freak. Samantha her name is.
