Heavenly Hurt

Heavenly Hurt

A Poem by Rose Downing
"

Such a bad break up... The higher you fly... well... you know.

"
Heaven has hurt us deep down in our hears.
I know that look on your face.
So I guess I just slowly fell apart,
what I did was such a disgrace.
But when you hold me like when we first met.
So what else am I to do?
Finally felt free. Freedom at what debt?
So hard to break up with you.
One part old fashioned, 2 parts out of rime
and GUESS WHAT! I still love you so.
Guess I'm just making up for lost time.
Come closer, please never let go.
My head is screaming the actions of that day,
It keeps playing like some bad song.
With touch made of nexus, don't make it go away,
So heaven, just what did I do wrong?
You just make me love you, but it tares at my heart.
And GUESS WHAT! I'm proud to call you mine.
So what am I to do? I don't want to depart.
But some day. It happens all the time.
