My Shell

My Shell

A Poem by Rose Downing
"

I wrote this years ago when I was a fool in love. This poem helped me to win a young girls heart. It's still one of my most favorites.

"
You are the sunset, mine is the rising tied.
Together we are ships out on the horizon.
When I'm with you I feel I have nothing to hide.
Like stars we go burning trough a new dawn rising.
And how with you, I can feel harmony chime,
Two pieces of the puzzle click together.
You fill my soul to beyond the point of rime.
Leaving this poem unfinished forever.
