It's Not Right

It's Not Right

A Poem by Olivia C. H.

Life is bitter,
Like citrus.
Your hands shake.
You can say what you want,
But I know what you mean.
You can say it's not right.
You can say it's not right.
And it's not.

These faces are cold,
Like frost.
Your hair stands on the back of your neck.
They can say what they want,
But I know what they mean.
They can say it's not right.
They can say it's not right.
And it's not.

My voice is dead,
Like dust.
Your eyes are bloodshot.
I can say what I want,
Yet, not know what I mean.
I can't say it's not right.
I can't say it's not right.
But I fear it might be.
