Orange

Orange

A Chapter by Oliver Lee

It's the color of the peel in your teeth. It's the color of her laugh. Warm. It's the color of the vibrant brick wall we went to take pictures at. It is the color of my hair. My dreaded curly hair. It is the color that resides in Morris, our goldfish. It is the color of 2pm dates on the sidewalk, on a fresh warm summer day. It is the color reflected in her eyes. So warm. So cozy. It is the color of the San Francisco sky at dusk, laying with her under a blanket in your truck. It is the color of leaning over and realizing; you're home
