Crumpled

Crumpled

A Poem by Blue
"

The lost life of a homeless man

"

He sits crumpled
Broken in spirit
Watching the cars go by
Under the over pass

He wonders why
His life is what it is
He just wants to die
He wonders how long can this pain last

He does not ask for money
He wants no sympathy
He just wants to watch the cars
He thinks as they pass

He was going somewhere once
Just like the people
Passing by in cars
Driving so damn fast

He remembers as a kid
Playing on a swing
Wishing he were a pilot
Planes go so damn fast

He had a girlfriend
A long time ago
His memory of his first kiss
Will always last

He stood up
Tears in his eyes
He jumped in front of the cars
That were moving so damn fast
