"If I Could Love You"          

If I could love you

for just one moment

in time

At least for an instant I 

could say you were mine

And if I could love you for

only one day,

at least I would know love 

once came my way

But....

If I could love you as long

as I want too, the end of

forever would come to soon

True indeed. Sometimes we desire love in return but one must remember that if one is in true love, then one can only give and expect nothing in return... I liked the last 3 lines... Nice one..
