As I matured and learn of my new abilities I began to wonder what would this new life bring and what would happen to my old life? These questions plagued me as I fought my way through the Bouts, rescued Rukia and defeated Aizin. What was meant for me? What was the real reasoning for my existence? Now 98 years after my dearth I have begun to look back at my time and I am slowing recalling the answers. The truth is more than anything what fueled I most was not the need to “Protect” or the need “Win” but my “Pride“was the only real reason I had to fight. -From the log of Ichigo Kurosaki.
“Hello young man what is your name?” “David Amsel” spoke the quiet German boy sitting in the middle of the room. His blue eyes never leaving the floor. “Where do you come from?” “I don’t know” His unkept black hair swaying in front of his face. “Looks like he has nowhere else to go I guess we have to keep him. David I welcome you to Das Wenig Hoffnung Waisenhaus I am your caregiver Father Delmont” ~2 years later Soul Society~ I’m sitting here watching as the meeting of the 13 court Guards drudges on I am thoroughly pissed at this point since this meeting became useless the second the Head Captain wasn’t here to monitor the meeting. “Ichigo…..Ichigo!....Ichigo!!! Are you even listing you Orange haired freak” screamed Renji Abarai. “Who the hell are you talking bout I’m not the one with the Flamboyant Red hair” I Replied back. “You son of a b***h I kill you” “What are you going against a captain? That is against the rules” I smirk knowing this was already going my way. “Pssh just because you hold position doesn’t mean you get to ignore the meeting and since when did I care about your rank I will beat the s**t out of you any day” “That’s it me you outside now we will settle this right now” I was now even more pissed then I had before “You two stop being idiots for one second and focus here we have a real problem on our hands since more and more people seem to be gaining spiritual power than ever before and we don’t understand why” Rukia reminded us of the situation at hand. It was about 30 years ago that more people seem to be born with full brings and even more Jureichi are made all over the planet. Things have gotten a lot worse for the Guards but even worse for me since I run the special case 14th division that’s responsible for spiritual abnormalities and that’s a huge pain in my a*s.
~Human world~ “So how is the boy doing is everything alright Father Delmont” spoke his young assistant Charles “Yes everything is find it seems he has taken a liken to his new found abilities and is also apt at using them. But……..” “Sir is there any foreseeable problem?” “Yes his communication with the others seems to be lacking he can’t get close to anyone it’s really frustrating” “Sir if I may not be rude but there are plenty of other kids who would follow more cooperatively. So why do you stick to this little child?” “Because he is my only reason for making the world a better place for him and for the rest of us. Remember and remember well I do not care much for the world as I do care for that child” “Oh I understand Father he is quite the child” “Wrong he is more than that he is my blessing in which I will not share do you understand Charles?” “I do Father” “Good now help me find him He’s been missing for the past 2 hours now” “Understood” ~In the left wing of the Orphanage~ “David I don’t think we are supposed to be back here” whispered the young Girl. Her Blonde hair and beautiful flaxen skin easily gave her away as a natural born German. She seemed quite nervous and frightened as she began to look around the abandon left wing of the mansion. “Aren’t you scared” she whispered again “Its completely terrifying place” she whispered again “Truthfully to be sacred of a place where you have been living all your life is Stupid” “WELL not everyone can be as brave as you” “Pssh what are you talking about most people our age wouldn’t get scared at all… your just a cry baby” “Am not and why are we even here? What’s the purpose anyway?” “Simple for this article” Die Zeitung The Little Hope Orphanage was a small orphanage on the outskirts of Bremen, Germany. It was run by Father Delmont a young catholic Priest who opened the orphanage after witnessing what he called Gods Revelation during a mass terrorist bombing in Rome. Father Delmont is the only eyewitness and surviving member of the bombing. “That’s it………. You dragged me all the way from the main mansion to find some stupid article about Father Delmont” “Hey it’s not stupid Maria It’s about are savior so it gains the utmost importance” spoke David quietly he didn’t like it when others made fun of father Delmont because in his eyes Father Delmont was their savior and deserved praise. “Ok whatever can we get out of here before Father and Charles starting searching for us” “No need to, we already found you” there before them was a towering father Delmont and his assistant Charles. Father Delmont was a tall sickly looking man his eyes were covered in bags and curly hair turned snow white from years living his voice deep and raspy and filled with wisdom. It seemed that every word that Father said was like note in a song that never ended and lulled all into obedience and order. “So what are you two doing here in the first place?” spoke father Delmont in the same voice he always used when he needed an answer. “We were looking for something that’s all” as we replied in union “Then showing me wouldn’t be a problem…. Right?” his voice raising and tensing as his gray blues eyes priced our very essence in anger. “Here” we managed to squeal as we handed him the torn old newspaper article. He seem to second guess himself from say anything about what we found but as I looked in his eyes I say fear and anger rise to the surface. His hand slowly creasing the paper as if he was trying to relive the very moment depicted in the article. Then he spoke. “Alright then it seems you haven’t found anything dangerous so instead of punishing you for running off I will confiscate this article……..Ok?” “Yes Father” we spoke in a dull voice hoping to show none of the fear that boiling inside us. “Good” his voice showing pleasure and understanding. “Chris we are leaving...……. And children return before diner okay?” “Yes Father” we said again this time with more passion.
