DreamsA Poem by Oku cobhamLike a coin I'll be, When presented to all; Both young and old The rich and poor, Or any class in the world, The same sound I'll give 'Ti- ki -ni, on the floor. Like a coin my life will be, On one side my good or rise The other my worst or fall, Boldly crested, for all to feel and see. The world will know my worth from what I'll give, So if cometh the eve, And I'm drowned'n the sea I'll know my fate, if I'm to die or live. All love what's Gold Cos it's glitteringly bold. The secret of it, The smiths and the miners knows The glory of it, The buyers and the flaunters boast. My life by choice I've drawn a plan. I've called on God for helping hands, Cos, the earth we live is but a coarse land An alleyway we must pass to honey lands . Like a Golden coin, I need my life to be, Zero interest in fame, luxurious cars and mansions. But my value indeed Be immeasurable by men. © 2019 Oku cobhamAuthor's Note
