Fade

Fade

A Poem by OkieWonKenokie

I begin to fade
even though my debt is paid.
I gave my life to you
and all my value,too.

Pull me back even if my voice lacks.
My head is like a huge mound,
and it seems as though I have no sound.

I said I'd never tell a soul,
but now my heart weaves a hole.
I heave a sigh
for I'm beginning to die.

I want you here with me
even if you want to leave me be.
Haven't I been found?
or maybe I'm still bound.

I begin to fall,
but i lean into the wall.
Every time I want to weep
I begin to seep.

Never do I want to sink
that's why I have this link.
When I begin to do so,
at least i have my pretty bow.

Leave me alone

and I may come home
or I may visit Rome.

I shouldn't be writing this poem
for you it'll be.
Never do I want to see you
nor will I ask you who.
